Re: EEO Compliance Review of RIPT A - Final Report
Dear Mr. Odimgbe:
Thank you for your agency's response to the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) letter and preliminary report of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Review conducted from July II - I3, 20 I2 of the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA). Enclosed is the final report that reflects RIPTA's comments to the draft report, submitted on September 25, 2012.
We are confident that RIPTA will take the necessary steps to correct the outstanding deficiencies in the areas of Designation of Personnel Responsibility, Goals and Timetables, and Monitoring and Reporting Systems.
All corrective actions must be submitted no later than December 3I, 2012. Once we have reviewed your submission, we will request clarification or additional corrective action, or we will close out the finding if RIPTA's response sufficiently addresses the FTA EEO Circular's requirements.
