LBT Condition Assessment

LBT provided the performance data as part of the Condition Assessment, Decision Support Tool and Investment Priority portion of their TAM Plan. Work order data was used to develop a vehicle safety baseline and FY16's MDBF for vehicle reliability. Using these two criteria and a ULB of 14 years, LBT can determine which revenue vehicles are in a State of Good Repair.

State of Good Repair

Helping transit agencies maintain bus and rail systems in a State of Good Repair (SGR) is one of FTA’s highest priorities. FTA recommends Transit Asset Management (TAM) practices to preserve and expand transit investments. Having well maintained, reliable transit infrastructure – track, signal systems, bridges, tunnels, vehicles and stations – will help ensure safe, dependable and accessible services.
